The B58 Gen2 factory intake on the G20/G42 platform routes air through a restrictive OEM assembly that limits induction character and Airflow at higher demand. This Intake System replaces the factory unit with a cold air-sourced, less restricted path to the B58 turbocharger — sharpening response and improving the induction experience.

Engineering Focus
Designed for B58 Gen2 applications in the G20 M340i and G42 M240i, this kit combines a Cold Air Intake System with a revised Turbo Inlet Pipe — addressing the two main restriction points between the filter and the compressor wheel.
Driving Experience
Fixing the airbox alone only solves half the restriction problem on the B58 Gen2 — the Turbo Inlet Pipe right after it is just as often the bottleneck. Tackling both together is the combination that actually moves the needle, rather than chasing one part of the intake path at a time.
