The EA888 Gen4 in the MK8 GTI runs a factory Intake System that sacrifices Airflow for refinement. This Aluminium intake provides a more direct path to the turbocharger, improving Induction Sound and supporting the Airflow needs of tuned MK8 applications.

Engineering Focus
Built from 6061 Aluminium for improved durability and heat management over the factory plastic inlet. Sized for the EA888 Gen4 in both standard and stage 1 tuned trim.
Driving Experience
The factory intake on the EA888 Gen4 was sized for cabin refinement, not for feeding the turbo under load. A larger, more direct Aluminium intake is the simplest fix in the book — more air in means more air the turbo can use, and a sharper Induction Note as a side effect.
