The EA888 Gen3 platform runs a factory Intake System that introduces more restriction than is necessary. As boost demand increases — whether from a tune or harder driving — the OEM assembly becomes a bottleneck.

Engineering Focus
Built from 6061 Aluminium with a 3-inch primary tube — larger than the factory assembly — this Intake System is well-suited to both stage 1 applications and builds running more aggressive tunes. Fits the EA888 Gen3 in both 1.8T and 2.0T configurations.
Driving Experience
The factory intake on the EA888 Gen3 was sized for cabin refinement, not for feeding an IS38 or IS20 under load. A larger primary tube is the simplest fix in the book — more air in means more air the turbo can use, and a sharper Induction Note as a side effect.
