The EA113 and EA888 Gen2 factory Intercooler is a significant heat soak point, especially on tuned MK5/MK6 GTI and A3 8P applications. This tube and fin Intercooler provides a larger core for improved cooling capacity — keeping intake temperatures in check during harder use.

Engineering Focus

The MK5/MK6 platform's factory core was sized for a much milder factory tune than most owners are running today. A larger tube and fin core trades nothing for more raw cooling surface, which matters more on a track day than it ever will on a spec sheet.
