Regional chassis variants can differ in steering linkage routing, brake master cylinder position, and exhaust clearance. A downpipe engineered around one market's engine bay is not automatically a drop-in on another.

Confirmed variant-specific fitment

Reputable downpipe and exhaust manufacturers publish variant-specific part numbers. If the listing does not call out your market variant, assume it is engineered for the other layout.

Red flags

  • 01No variant-specific part number in the manufacturer SKU
  • 02'Universal fit' language on a chassis-specific part
  • 03No published clearance to the OEM steering linkage
  • 04Fabrication required for the bracketry
