Upgrade path
Where it fits.
Preventative on day one for any B58, S58 or S55. Mandatory in the Stage 2 hardware pathway.
Forced Induction/Ingredient-level
Alloy boost piping — the cheapest insurance any modern turbo car will ever buy.
What charge pipes do
OEM charge pipes on B58, S58, S55 and EA888 are plastic — the known platform-level failure point once boost demand rises. Replacing the OEM piece with an alloy or reinforced silicone charge pipe removes the failure mode entirely, often for under the cost of a service. Pair with a turbo inlet for a complete pressurised flow path.
